I happen to think that The Wire is the greatest television show ever. I wouldn't argue with you if you said something like Seinfeld or Six Feet Under or The Sopranos or The Mary Tyler Moore Show is better, but if you try to argue that The Wire doesn't deserve consideration, I'll stab you in the throat with a shiv. If any of you haven't seen the show, I strongly suggest you give it a try. It's the only slam dunk television guarantee I can make to any friend.
